Our rooms

Bathed in light and cradled by the singing of birds, " le Clos de la Croix " proposes four rooms and one family suite of character with the neat decorations. Both passionate about the auction houses and passionate about decoration, we wanted to decorate carefully, each one of our rooms with our finds and shots of heart, not hesitating to associate the eras and the styles with audacity. A majestic stone staircase will take you to the rooms.

You will be able to choose to sleep in "la Chambre d'Athanase", owner from 1806 to 1889, in the "Chambre de Mme Doullys", owner of 1889 to 1919, in the "chambre du Seigneur Isaac", owner of 1740 to 1752, or in the "Suite des Docteurs Desprairies", the same family owner from 1909 to 2017.

For the time of a night or for an extended stay, you will find at "Clos de la Croix" a warm and historical space where you can relax.
We would like to point out that our rooms are not equipped to accommodate people with reduced mobility. We are sorry about this.
Room "Chambre d'Athanase" (owner 1806 to 1889)

Facing south, the room "Chambre d'Athanase" has a nice view of the Cathedral of Bayeux. This attic room is located on the second floor, by stairs. With its old frame, a large dressing room, this room has a queen size bed (160x200 cm), a sitting area with TV, free Wifi access, a shower room (with hair-dryer), fully renovated, with private toilet and window. The towels are organics. A courtesy tray is available to our guests.

Room "Chambre du Seigneur Isaac" (owner of 1740 to 1752)

Facing west, the room "Chambre du Seigneur Isaac" is on the first floor, by stairs. With its old stone fireplace, its stone floor, its old beams, this room has a queen size bed (160x200 cm), a sitting area with TV, free access WIFI, a shower room, fully renovated (faïence Piero Fornasetti), with private WC, and window. The towels are organic. A courtesy tray is available to our guests

Room  "Chambre de Mme Doullys" (owner of 1889 to 1919)

Facing west, the room "Chambre de Mme Doullys" is on the ground floor. It gives directly into the main courtyard of the house. With its old black marble fireplace, its wooden floor, its old beams, this room has a large bed (180x200 cm) or two separate beds (90x200 cm), a sitting area with TV, free  access WIFI , a shower room (with hair-dryer), fully renovated (faïence Piero Fornasetti), with private toilet, and window. The towels are organic. A courtesy tray is available to our guests

Room  "Chambre du frère Pierre"

Facing west, the room "Chambre du frère Pierre" is on the fisrt floor, with a nice view on the garden (2 windows). With an old black marble fireplace,  wooden floor,  old pannelings and alcove dating 18th century, this room has 1 bed (140x200 cm), a sitting area with TV, free access WIFI , a large shower-room (with hair-dryer), fully renovated (faïence Piero Fornasetti), with private toilet, and window. The towels are organic. A courtesy tray is available to our guests.

Family suite "Suite des Docteurs Desprairies" (owner from 1909 to 2017)

Facing south, the family suite "Suite des Docteurs Desprairies", ideal for a family of 4, consists of two separate rooms. It has a nice view of the Bayeux cathedral. This attic suite is located on the second floor. With its ancient framework, a floor tomettes, this suite has a queenbed (160x200 cm) in one of the bedrooms and 2 single beds (90x200 cm) in the second bedroom, a lounge area with TV, free access WIFI, a shower room (with hair-dryer), fully renovated, with private toilet and window. The towels are organic. A courtesy tray is available to our guests
